This upbringing instituting is for 100 prisoners, but there never are more then 30 children. During my visit in the Colony, I got acquaint with 19 “asocial elements”. 7 of them have a scab. There was quarantine. They set in the green color from medicine, people with black past and hopefully not with black future. “Please, buy for me a loaf of bread, a pack of cigarettes, a bar of chocolate, one cake and I’ll walk home – said 4 years old baby killer Rudik. Children, as Rudik can’t go far away from the prison.

Manana Jipurashvili, doctor of institution: - This children, basically, are children of the split families. Sometimes the member of family is a prisoner or parents are somewhere and children are upbringing by grand mothers and grand fathers. Very seldom the child is an absolute an orphan. There they live with here canons. The main criteria of relationship are what their virtue is. Priest George come and talk with children, christen them… Somebody became a godfather of each other, we christen them. Somebody wrote poetries, somebody wants to become leader. Of course they are not looking as ordinary children… They have a crime past. Somebody “come” to us twice, third times… They have illnesses. Somebody is ill with stomach acke– somebody with skin and venereal dieses, somebody the illness of respiratory system. There were the “Street children” and inhabitant if children’s house.

-I thought that I shall be happy woman. But today I am very unhappy .I lost everything.

My husband, as he has money, he went to the “bottle company” friends and spent it. We traveled from flat to flat. At 1992 year as a having many children mother (I was a pregnant on

Last year in October his mother called me and said “Joto fell down, please, help him...” in spite of I and my older boy run to village…bring him over there. They say if you did not do operation, he lost his foot … Joto has brother in Moscow; I connect him and ask him about operation money... He sent me 250$... But operation cist was 700 lari. They promised us to make operation with 500 lari. Give other 200 money then…. We were I the hospital in the Uznadze street... Days and nights a was near my husband‘s. All my life he beat me, I was a dark blue, but when he was in terrible, I helped him . We can’t gather 200 lari. Medical service did not make for him the bandaging and other procedures. And my boy took him on the back and we “run” from hospital. It is good that security let go at the opposite Nugzar may be have very many problems…

It is Georgian saying that the stone catch up unhappy man on the rise… it is about me- continues Qetino-3 years ago have catcher my Nugzar and passed him to the prison … In this time he was studying in the painting school – “Toidze”. One boy his class-mate abused him, mock him, why you does not dress in the temporary dress, sometimes he take money from my boy and my child have warning him – “I had my problems, please stopped it, if I become craze, it will be very bad for you!” but this boy did nit stopped. And during such conflict, Nugzar for self defense waved the knee and wounded class- mate. It is good that all group was a witness about who was initiator if this conflict. After one year he becomes free from prison. He was talent pupil, He can do everything. In “Toidze” they promised me that they give to my boy diploma... He pants the icons and work on the box tree, makes mirrors. In our shops bring the icons with the price 10 lari, when the real price if it is 50 lari… After prison he was very changed…He said often – “Mother, this terrible is from got, if we can hold out, we‘ll be happy, of course” Nugzar waiting for the letter of release, when the prisoners in the prison start hunger – strike... Nugzar joined them and stay with them at the end.

Last year during 5 month my children did not go to the school .We have not books and note-books... And by and teacher required money… Today I have a debt of school. 1, 5 lari, that’s why I can’t drop my children at the school. It makes me ashamed!

The book, mentioned above, nearly provoked the international tension between 2 countries. The Russian ambassador in Great Britain blamed the British historian in the cynical attitude towards the Russian Nation and accused him in the falsification of the history. “It is shame –he said.- to make a slander about nation, which has saved the world from Nazism! Without cements, it is strong argument…The solidarity of man and the taking care of “ideals” consolidates the honor of the regiment. Stalin or simple solder from sides of the Volga (Both the “Universal Solders”) never should be mentioned in the negative context. The image of a winner knight and liberator will outbalance everyone and everything. Why we’ll must mention the destiny of women from the other nation and her abuse, when we are talking about overvalues ( Motherland, State, Flag and etc.)? Especially as during the war everything is possible… Georgians say “Everything you can use in then war”, ”War is a war”, “Nobody has a right to condemn the winner”… This is the list of the same “truths”. But behind the curtains there is a living one “unimportant detail” – the fact, truth, which is invariable, as a conscience and is not under interpretation

The rape of women was a valid Roman right in the VI century. During the attacks of Agha-Mahmad-Khan was in the “used” the same code of “Good Boys”… As a during the blood cataclysms of the last century. The sexual terrors was implementing during the I and II World War, Germans - in Ukraine, Russians - in Afghanistan, Iraqis- in Kuwait…. Anthony Bivor mentioned that the Soviet solders made the violence against Russian and Polish women, which they discharge from the concentration camps. But, has somebody right to criticize something, which is connecting with the Great Patriotic War? Or History which is became the weapon of this masculinity, fallocratic world and form it’s existence? Women’s point of view, historical experiences are not added in “History”- (in English language- men’s history) and only the God knows, when the time for “History” will come.

In XX century Japan has used the “Pleasant and Comfort Women” from Korea, Filipinos and other Asia countries for their “Militarists Aims”. After some ten years raped women complained the “Winner Solders “ in the Geneva and the Hague Court. Her legality husband- combatant after Abkhazian War sometimes feel, that he “must” romaine his wife about heaviness of his existential condition or vacuum trough beating her. And women is keeping silence in the war and peace time. After all she is victim and the role of “weakness” obligated her to keep silence. She must redeem Eve’s guilty…

When somebody raped women in front of her husband or family, this behavior is in the list of blow up houses, to hijack car, steal, shot down cattle. Woman is raped as a man’s, enemy’s wife. As a simple stuff without soul, like a property. In the group rape the “participants” behaved by the principle of crowd. “I can that you could!“

The specialists mentioned, that it is not possible to have a normal libido to the sexual objective in the war conditions. But what do cause erection? The black precipices of sub consciousness, mentally disorders or the “force is in together”? It is very difficult to answer this question.

The primitive ethnic group Kikuyu in the East Asia have such tradition. The adult’s process of initiation means the ceremony of sexual violence. Not once again a heard about facts of women’s rape during Abkhazian war and “capture” of Samegrelo (One of the regions of Georgia). My efforts to find out the concrete incidents or witnesses, finished without any results. One representative from international organization gave me information about it and spoke about 23 raped young girls, but next day this person changed his decision and directed me not to publish that article, as if we were not talking.

 1998 year with the program of UN I have been in Zugdidi (Samegrelo). In the God’s forgotten village, in the left, devastated, two-storey building there lived the IDPs .The group of sociologists must do description of conditions of IDPs. As I came to the first floor, suddenly from somewhere ran out a human being of female sex 20 -25 years old and hanged on my neck. With dirty, dumbfounded hears, crazy ayes, threadbare, open dressing-gown…

-Sestra, sestra, (“Sister”- in the Russian language) do you want me to sing for you?- she cried .

Some women came out with grumbling, moved off her and explained to me:

- Zeinab and her sister are twins. They hade only a grandmother and she died. The whole village helped them. During the Abkhazian war Abkhazians kidnapped them, they were in the forest…They “used “ them well. Zeinab’s sister early time has the mental problems… but after those men she became really insane, crazy. Who is their supporter? We give them one slice of daily bread. Zeinab became crazy too. She is running hither and thither. But her sister stays in bed all days and nights.

-Sestra, sestra, I want to sing for you!-Zeinab cried again…

She ran somewhere, brought a stool and put it in the middle of the yard. Then ran again and brought a big accordion.

Zeinab sat on the stool, opened accordion and “sang”, sometimes I recognized the word “Motherland”.

Suddenly the rain started. Downpour. And, I and Zeinab were in the earth color yard under open sky. The dumbfounded hears hanged on her face, staked, but she obstinately continues to cry accordion. We are standing – I am not an IDP, the member of psychologists group of UN program, with beg, where are the papers- questionnaires, somebody, Merkviladze and Zeinab, with accordions on her shoulders, indescribable despair and real and underworld pain…

According statistic information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia: in the 1994 year in Georgia there were fixed 49 cases of rape (46 have disclosed); 1995 year -50(50); 1996 year -47(44); 1997 year -41(41); 1998 year -39(38); 1999 year -53(33); 2000-47(47); 2001 year 45 (45); 2002 year – 51(49). If we mention the real appropriateness, we must multiply this numbers on the ten…

According professional language the rape is crime action, which is implemented with physical violence, frightening or with using the infirmity of victim. The heterosexual kind if violence is happened more often, but the rape does homosexuals and bisexuals too. Such cases are more in the prisons. According statistic information, the 80 percent of victims do not have the signs of physical violence. That’s why the analysis of each cases need systemic approach – is the women put in the infirmity condition.

The human’s protection system from physic violence is not only “The Human’s Rights Universal Declaration“, but specific documents, which “mentioned “rape. “The Convention of Elimination All Forms Discrimination against Women” (1979) and “UN Declaration about Elimination of Discrimination” (1993), UN Security Council Resolution N 1325 (2000). Our home criminal code also: “Rape…is punished from imprisonment from 3 to 7 years”. During the process of solving amenability it has not importance in what kind of relationships were or are between victim and violator. It is full possible to rape own wife, bride, relative woman, neighbor, or women, who was in the sexual relationship with violator during long time before.

The heaviness conditions also are: 1.Group rape. 2. Deliberation rape of pregnant woman and under age. 3. Special brutality. 4. With using the official condition 5.Killing victim. 6. Transmission the HIV/AID to the victim, the heavy damage of health, which is punished imprisonment from 5 to 15 year. The rape of under age 14 year old is punished with imprisonment from 10 to 20 year…

The case, which is considered in the court do not stop after reconciled of victim and violator.

According to theory and practice of “Sexist’s Segregation“, the woman is guilty in her rape... Short skirt, defiant perfume, nice hears languid eyes. Andro Kandelaki (The President of Sexologist’s Society of Georgia, Docent):-- According to my practice experience the violators of rape are actually healthy men, but very seldom they are people with psychiatric problems. During the expertise process often make a simulation, as they are impotents, but after qualification examine it is easy to disprove this. Usually these men are so called sexual deficiency or inferiority. For sexual excitation they need extra stimulations- women’s crying, resistance, or “prehistory” – porno movie, erotic movie. Often in the body if victim woman did not sign the track of violence, which is the result if their infirmity. In the case of group rape, this is the “means” of self-realization if primitive humans. Pack is finding victims and became “winner”. But they go to risk and with this price proved their manhood.

Abel Mamardashvili (Director of Science-Psychiatrically Hospital, the Head of Commission of Psychiatrically-Court Expertise):-- In the our commission we conduct, approximately, expertizing of 15-20 violators. In my practice is exists such case: young boys raped women (often relative), it is the case of rape of grandmother by grandchild. The victim often is a little girl, who could not understand what kind of misfortune is over her head. We “have” the cases of incest. Last time 5 such cases were fixed. A drunken “father” raped his daughter of 9 years age. 9 years girl suffered and at last, when she became 18 years old, she said about it. Father paid the penalty.

The sexual pathology does not depend on the state system, on the social - economic conditions. The psychopathic is the human’s character line, which if it falls in the several conditions, expressed trough several ways. Very often the violator is hunting to the physical add mentally disabled people. He find them between neighbors, relative’s neighbors, relatives and frighten or give her a “bribe” as a gift…Rape is terrible crime. I heard that in Kakheti (One region of Georgia) such violator did not live until court process. People killed him according to the Lynch Law. We have had such fact, when one girl was indescribable raped by 3 man and then they killed her. One of perpetrator was killed by people.

20 years ago, the old woman came to me, brought upper of a young boy grandmother and read the letter of her 19 years old grandson. Police put into his pocket drags, they couldn’t take from him money and sent an innocent adult to the narcological preventive clinic in Sagarejo. Unlucky boy wrote: “Grandmother, please help me faster! Otherwise I will hang myself! Here one syphilitic persecuted me and every day rapes me.”

I put grandmother in the car and ran to the Sagarejo, but it was too late… He hanged himself.

I see familiar women who are raped in the job place, street, and elevator. They are the victims of attempt of rape and sexual harassment. They needs psychiatrically, psychotherapy aid, but they do not apply to the court. The Georgian society considers that these victims are perpetrators… And, this women do the operation if reconstruction of hymen, then married, has a family. But her past trauma accompanies her whole life. Only God knows, how many are such unlucky and lonely women…
